Kelston is a small desirable village and civil parish in Somerset, 4 miles (6.4 km) north west of Bath, and 8 miles (12.9 km) east of Bristol, on the A431 road within easy access of both cities. It is situated just north of the River Avon, close to the Kelston and Saltford locks. The village has a pub The Old Crown, well renowned in the area. Other immediate village amenities include a cheese shop, village hall, church and a second pub. A good network of paths can be enjoyed over beautiful nearby countryside. The Georgian City of Bath offers a wide range of cultural, leisure and shopping facilities. Bath Spa Station offers high speed rail links to London Paddington (approximately 90 minutes), and further rail services to the West Country and Bristol Temple Meads. Leave Bath heading west on the A4 Upper Bristol Road. Continue past the Royal Victoria Park on the right hand side and continue straight on to the traffic lights at Windsor Bridge.
