Bath’s longest established estate agents are welcoming Spring with a brand new website. The move came as Pritchards, an independent company that has proudly served the area since 1785, felt the time had come to revamp their presence online.  The new website will further enhance the high level of customer service that Pritchards currently offers, and will give users looking for property in Bath the edge when it comes to searching for that special home. Pritchards have streamlined their online customer service capabilities, with the property seeker’s web journey made both simpler and smoother. The website is ‘fully responsive’ in that it adapts to whichever device is accessing it, be that desktop, tablet or smartphone. With Google research showing that more than 50% of property searches are now done via handheld devices, this is clearly the way forward for Pritchards. By signing up to the website, My Pritchards users will receive regular updates of property in Bath that is new to the market and matches their wish list, and, given that a good number of these will be accessed via handheld devices, these alerts are designed to respond to the device being used. Users are also able to format their own ‘hot list’ of desirable properties, meaning that their chosen list is available via one touch rather than having to search through all the property in Bath again. Pritchards have a team of conscientious staff who have in depth knowledge of all periods and styles of dwellings in and around the city, as well as experience in negotiating a fair price for vendor and purchaser. It’s with this in mind that, for the first time, Pritchards’ website will now feature bespoke photography and staff profiles, adding that personal touch to a client’s web experience. In addition to the new website, Pritchards has one of the most recognisable office windows in Bath, just off Milsom Street in Quiet Street, the city’s main shopping destination. Pritchards have been working with Bath Web Design Agency, ID³ to bring the new website to fruition. Mark Cherry, ID³ Managing Director, said: “As a very satisfied customer of Pritchards in the past, I was absolutely delighted to work with the team on developing their new responsive website and social media presence. With Google having recently announced that property related searches from handheld devices are up by 190% in the past two years, it clearly demonstrates Pritchards’ commitment to showcasing their properties utilising the latest marketing techniques.”
